  • Lahore to M-2, M-3 then Hazara Expressway to Balakot
  • Route 1 (N-35 or KKH via Besham Dassu Road) Whole year
  • Highway 2 (N-15 or Naran-Kaghan-Babusar Top) Only in Summer Season
  • From Jaglot take a route of JSR (Jaglot-Skardu-Road)
  • Road are carpeted throughout the journey. Only some patches after Chilas & Dassu are worn out.
  • However, you can use the Naran Babusar route from Mid June till Mid October.

How many days are enough for Skardu?

In 5 days are enough to explore all the main attractions of Skardu, If you are from Karachi then 9 to 10 days are required. From Lahore & Islamabad 6 – 7 days are enough. We will cover beautiful areas of the Skardu Valley, especially Khaplu, the gateway to many of the world’s highest peaks. Also, Lake Sadpara is a wonder in itself. Lower Kachura is a paradise wrapped by immense mountains. By air to Skardu 4 – 5 days needed to visit tourist destinations of Skardu Valley.

What is the best time to visit Skardu?

April to October is the best time to visit Skardu, when the fresh green grass carpet covers the slopes. June to August is the period when most domestic tourists from the hot plains of Punjab and Sindh escape the scorching summer heat and find refuge in the cool areas of Skardu. November to March is also perfect period for honeymoon trips and for snow lovers.

How much does it cost to visit Skardu?

Skardu cost depends number of days, vehicle type and hotel category. Usually, Rs.25000 – Rs.30,000 per head price in group tour departure every weekend with all inclusive services. Is Skardu better than Hunza?

Hunza has its own beauty in term of landscape diversity. Skardu is the land of majestic mountains and home of mighty snowcapped peaks. The valleys are Shigar, Khaplu, Rama and Astore. In Hunza tour Naltar is one of the lush green valley. Other than Naltar there is no such green forested valley in Hunza tour. Both valley have different scenery. Tourist must visit the both regions of Gilgit Baltistan if they want to see more sceneries. Therefore, in terms of greenery Skardu is better than Hunza.

What are the Tour Terms & Conditions?

  1. Standard hotel check-in time is 12:00 pm, and check-out time is 10:00 am.
  2. Meals other than those specified are an exclusion from the package.
  3. Vehicles will be provided as per the group size.
  4. ACs don’t work in Hilly Areas as the climate is moderate.
  5. Hotels are subject to availability; guests will be accommodated in similar properties if unavailable.
  6. The monument entry fee and camera charges are not included in the package.
  7. Children above 8 years of age will be considered adults only. There are no charges for children below 5 years of age.
  8. All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any insurance cover is not a part of the package.
  9. Govt. Approved ID is mandatory for each guest when booking and upon arrival. 
  10. All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details when booking and upon arrival.
  11. Prices might greatly vary on Blackout Dates(special dates like Eid ul Fitr, Eid ul Adha, New Year’s, etc.). You can connect with us directly to get the best rates for these days.
  12. The prices may vary based on the season and the number of travelers traveling per day in a specific region, as there is limited hotel availability in hilly areas.
  13. Any deviation from the Vehicle’s planned route at the customer’s request during the tour will be chargeable per km basis.
  14. Any breakage or damage of items at the hotels/resorts/camps/vehicles will be charged at actuals.
  15. The package cost will not accommodate personal expenses like portage, tips, laundry, mineral water, etc.
  16. TripMaker reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any disturbances (i.e., severe weather conditions, political unrest or others).
  17. Any rescheduling/rearrangement of a package due to circumstances beyond TripMaker’s control might invite additional hotel charges and/or vehicle charges.
  18. If a traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, the traveler will bear all the expenses from that point onwards. Neither the operator nor TripMaker will be responsible for such decisions or refunds.
  19. Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.
