I give it five stars because you won’t come across many places that would match Fairy Meadows Travel & Tour Packages in natural beauty, serenity, and grandeur. To reach Fairy Meadows, you will have to take a jeep from Raikot Bridge. The track leading to Tattu village gets quite narrow after a while, and one would need an expert driver.
From Fairy Meadows, there is another trek to Bayal camp, where you can go to the viewpoint of Nanga Parbat, and from there you can go to the base camp of Nanga Parbat. Visiting Nanga Parbat base camp at 13500 feet, Bayal Camp at 11600, and trekking along Raikot Glacier and on the surrounding hills are activities one must undertake when in Fairy Meadow. You can avail the Bayal Camp Tour Packages at affordable prices.
Fairy Meadows is approachable by a 12 km-long jeep track starting from Raikot bridge on the Karakoram Highway to the village of Tattu. Further from Tattu, it takes about three to four hours hiking by a 5 km track or by horse to Fairy Meadows. Must-visit place in our Fairy Meadows trips packages 2026 with a local guide.
Fairy Meadows to Bayal Camp (3 hours one way) at 3,500 m above sea level. It is usually 2 – 3 hours one way for trekking in Fairy Meadows from Tattu village on a rocky & rough track, not difficult but a bit easier than others. The first route started on a flat path, through the dense Fairy Meadows forest, along the hills, overlooking Nanga Parbat and Raikot Glacier to the left.
This trail lasts about an hour through the jungle in flat terrain, passing several streams until you reach an opening where you will see the village covered by Nanga Parbat in the distance. We also have Nanga Parbat Tour Packages for trekkers and nature lovers.
Bayal camp to Nanga Parbat base camp can be challenging for the trekkers and can be done in 3 hours one way at an altitude of 3,967 m. From a 30-minute perspective to the Bayal camp, you must climb a ridge for another 30 minutes, then cross the rocky glacier to reach the base camp. Be careful because the trail is getting steeper and quieter, and the scenery is getting more beautiful. The most adventurous experience in our Fairy Meadows holiday packages 2026 from Lahore, Karachi & Islamabad.
After an hour’s drive, the jeep track will end around a km ahead of Tattu village, and from there on, one will have to walk on foot. Another 1.5 to 3 hours trek (depending on the fitness level), one reaches the fairy land – a place as beautiful and serene as you can imagine. When in Fairy Meadow, you will get a great view of majestic Nanga Parbat, the ninth-highest mountain in the world.
A very peaceful & relaxing place to enjoy the mountain view, soaking in the atmosphere & hospitality of the local people. Indeed, it is called “Heaven on Earth“. With fascinating waterfalls, natural springs, and stunning views of multifaceted mountains, the trail from meadows to Bayal camp can still be called one of the best, if not the best, in the world. We also have Pakistan Northern Areas Tour Packages from all over the world.
The road was initially quite broad, but as we gained altitude and went deeper into the gorge, it became narrower and narrower until only a single vehicle could fit on the entire road. If another jeep came along, it would be challenging for the two jeeps to pass each other.
However, the jeep drivers in this area are locals familiar with the road and the terrain, so they know what they’re doing. Our jeep driver safely dropped us off at Tatu village, the starting point of a 6-kilometer hiking trail to Fairy Meadows. The jeep track is 14 kilometers long and takes about 1.5 hours.
You can visit Fairy Meadows from April to October. The best months, though, are May-June and September-October. Fairy Meadows is unreachable in winter due to heavy snowfall and freezing weather. So, summer is the best season to explore the surreal beauty of Fairy Meadows. When Babusar Pass opens, it will be a scenic route towards Nanga Parbat and Fairy Meadows in the summer.
Book Fairy Meadows tour packages from Rs 24,600 to Rs.58,900 (Fairy Meadows Tour Package), enjoy jeep ride, travel, & 5-hour trek to Nanga Parbat Base Camp. Plus, we have private tour packages of Fairy Meadows for your family and friends separately, in Rs.75,000, Rs.84,000, Rs.93,000, Rs.99,500, and Rs.115,000. For a lower price, you can take our Fairy Meadows group tours, which depart every weekend with your family.
A minimum of 5 days is required to cover the main tour attractions of Fairy Meadows, including sightseeing and trekking. From Lahore & Islamabad, five days are needed with 2-night stays at Chillas & 2-night stays at Fairy Meadows. So, your tour consists of 5 days and 4 nights.
You can see the beautiful view of Nanga Parbat as the first rays of the Sun kissed its peaks. No matter how tired you are, it is best to wake up before sunrise to see the most beautiful morning of your life. The same is applicable for the sunset as well.
It was a rest day, so after a hearty breakfast, you can take a leisurely hike towards “Reflection Lake” and the surrounding jungle. Travelers can spend most of their time around the lake, in the wilderness, and on the treks down towards the villages. Many Fairy Meadows vacation packages are available on our panel.
Yes, you can. Need to take a 1-hour PIA direct flight from Islamabad to Gilgit. Then take a local car or Prado to reach Raikot Bridge in 2 – 3 hours. Then take a jeep to Fairy Meadows, which costs 18,000 to 20,000 round-trip.
Only locals are allowed to drive on the Fairy Meadows road. You must hire a jeep and a driver to take you to Tato Village. Due to its difficulty level, you are not allowed to drive any vehicle on the Fairy Meadows track. Another reason is that locals make a private track to earn money by driving jeeps only.
The beautiful 1st Base Camp of Nanga Parbat is Beyal Camp, 4 kilometers ahead of Fairy Meadows. From there, the trail descends to the cliff’s edge, which parallels the stream. The track is more accessible than the Fairy Meadows trek, but it took us 3 hours to reach Beyal, partly because we got lost in the jungle.
Beyal Camp is a vast meadow surrounded by a thick jungle of pine trees at the foot of Nanga Parbat, with
The glacial stream flows through the valley, adding to its beauty.
