How can one get to Fairy Meadows?

There are three routes to reach this breathtaking location.

Route 1: (By Road Travel via Babusar Top)

Travel from Islamabad to Fairy Meadows via Kaghan Valley; take a break in Naran (7 hours from Islamabad to Naran). The next day, you will head towards Chilas via Babusar Pass (four hours from Naran to Chilas). From Chilas to Raikot, your vehicle can proceed to Raikot (2 hours from Chilas to Raikot bridge).

Next, embark on a two-hour jeep ride along the world’s second most dangerous road (2 hours from Raikot to Tattu village). Now it will take 3 to 5 hours, a gravel and muddy trail that leads to the mesmerizing Fairy Meadows, Home of Nanga Parbat.

Route 2: (Via Karakoram Highway)

You can get directly to Chilas through Naran Valley, or if Babusar Pass is closed, take the Karakoram Highway to reach Chilas. Spend the night in Chilas and begin your journey the next day, following the route and timings mentioned in Route 1.

Route 3: (Via Flight to Gilgit Airport)

A more efficient option is to take a flight from Islamabad to Gilgit (a 1-hour and 15-minute flight), then travel by road from Gilgit to Fairy Meadows. It takes 2 hours to travel from Raikot to Tattu village and then to Fairy Meadows.
