Two valleys start from Kel, Shounter and Taobat. Taobat is a long narrow valley with many villages on the way. The main town is called Taobat, and it’s almost 45 km from Kel, but it takes at least 4 hours. The road is scary but a memorable adventure. Many checkpoints along the road have to prove and submit their identity in Halmat before Taobat.

On average, it will take 5.5 hours from Muzafarabad to Sharda afterward until Kel and Taobat hire a Jeep for your traveling due to quite bumpy roads.
