Visitors can discover numerous tourist spots in Pakistan, particularly in the northern regions known for their stunning green mountains and some of the most picturesque lakes in Gilgit-Baltistan and Hunza. We offer affordable, customized Hunza Valley tour packages with excellent services. Below is a list of the finest lakes in Gilgit Baltistan and Hunza Valley:
Hunza is famous for its four enormous lakes, but Attabad Lake is the most prominent one. It is discovered in Gojal Valley (Ainabad Village) in the Upper Hunza Valley. Thousands of local, regional, and international tourists enjoy the lake every year since it was created in 2010 as a result of a natural catastrophe. Additionally, Attabad Lake allows its tourists to enjoy boating, jet skiing, fishing, and other adventurous activities at affordable prices.
Be calm like a calm lake, then you will look beautiful like a beautiful calm lake!
A dark tale hides underneath this beauty. Moreover, after gathering water, this region eventually developed into a lake and acquired its distinctive blue color. In addition to being beautiful, it serves as a reminder that we have yet to conquer or surpass nature. Attabad Lake has an estimated total length of 22 square km and a depth of 112 m. located
I think this is the best way I can describe the mesmerizing beauty of this place. Located near Domel, which is a village in the very far-flung Minimarg Valley of Astor District, Rainbow Lake is a small lake but doesn’t lack in beauty. Fed by freshwater streams from adjoining mountains, Rainbow Lake has crystal clear water that changes shades from turquoise to green at different times of the day.
The lake contains good-sized brown trout and is popular amongst trout anglers. However, Rainbow Lake is not easily accessible. Minimerg Valley and Rainbow Lake can only be approached through 14500 ft high Burzil Pass, which remains closed due to heavy snow for 7-8 months of the year. One needs to coordinate a lot of details before going to this area. Feasible times to visit Minimerg are June, July, and August.
Despite all the traveling difficulties and coordination with military and police authorities that one undergoes for going to Rainbow Lake, it is worth the effort. Indeed, heaven on earth is where time stops.
One of Skardu’s most captivating lakes, with a depth of over 60 meters, is the perfect location for nature lovers. There are many water sports to do for adventure seekers. It is 20 kilometers from Skardu City, which takes 30 minutes to the parking point and then 10 – 15 minutes to this organic, crystal clear lake. It is almost 25 °C in the summer, while the weather is frozen in the winter. Often, travelers do not explore Upper Kachura Lake because of its undeveloped location and lack of infrastructure. We offer the best Skardu Holiday Packages at affordable prices.
Satrangi Lake, known as Naltar Lake, is renowned for its stunning colors that shift with sunlight. Located in Naltar Valley, approximately 40 km from Gilgit city, it takes about two hours to reach by 4×4 jeep. The best time to visit is from May to October, as winter conditions can hinder access due to heavy snowfall. Before visiting this stunning tourist attraction, make sure the weather is right.
Getting to Rush Lake is not easy because of the rugged terrain, and you must trek to get there. Starting from Nagar Valley, which itself is a beautiful tourist attraction, the journey continues through trekking and then a challenging hike to reach the lake.
The Rush Lake trek is about 10-12 kilometers from Nagar Valley and takes approximately 6-7 hours. It depends on the individual’s fitness and the weather. The journey is full of rocky terrain and meadows. The trail is adventurous for the nature lover and adventurer.
The best time to visit the lake is during the summer months from June to September, when the weather is generally more pleasant. Before embarking on the trek, it is important to be aware of the routes and the weather conditions; poor weather, such as rain or snow, can make the trip dangerous.
Katpana Lake is listed as one of Skardu’s undiscovered locations. Because of its alluring beauty, Katpana Lake is growing in popularity among national and international tourists and backpackers. Around 4 kilometers from Skardu, the largest city, lies the wonderland Katpana, home to the lake.
Besides the beautiful view provided by the trees that line the lake, Katpana Lake is one of Pakistan’s most stunning lakes, which you should not miss when you’re in Skardu. Check the weather in this area before traveling there.

Trekking on a sunny day may seem like the perfect condition for an outdoor activity. The snow has melted, the flowers are blooming, and the skies are blue. Sounds dreamy, right?? But it’s Not Always Beautiful, and unfortunately, that also means it can often get ridiculously hot. I’m heat-sensitive, and to me, heat is absolutely brutal! Therefore, sharing with you my tips for hiking in hot weather, to help you stay safe and enjoy
Remember the rule! Get up, start, and finish up early
Wear loose, light-colored, and breathable clothing. Light colors that reflect the sun’s rays rather than absorb them (as dark colors can) help keep you cool, whereas loose-fitting clothing that breathes well will help your body regulate temperature. Nylon and polyester are good choices!
Do that for added protection from the Sun
Apply sunscreen 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply after at least every 2 hours
Ensure that you’re consuming enough fluids
Gotta keep at least 2-3 liters of fluid (water or oral rehydration salts) .. as dehydration can mimic signs of high altitude sickness
