5. Do Janga:

The main track of Kumrat towards Do Janga is the last point of the valley. It gets more hard after crossing Kala Chashma and the nullah before the jungle. Had a little chat with a local before the last camping spot, and he offered me dinner with a night stay at his place. I told him I was going to fix camp at Do Janga as it was already getting darker. He warned me about staying there due to the presence of wild animals but I did so anyway. Visit this stunning tourist destination in the right weather.

8. Katora Lake:

There is a lot of difficulty involved in hiking to Kotara Lake. Your journey begins with a 40-minute jeep ride from Thal Bazaar to Takki Top, and from Takki Top to Jahaz Banda, it takes around 3-4 hours of hiking. The next day, set out early in the morning to hike to Katora Lake, which will take another 3-4 hours. Still, it’s completely worth it.

In my opinion, this is one of the best valleys in Pakistan, if not the best. This town is located in the upper Dir district of the KPK province. A lush green mountain range, rivers, waterfalls, mountains, and lush green forests are some of its most notable features.

It takes eight to nine hours to drive from Islamabad. Kumrat Valley ends at the end of the road, so you will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get there.

11. Badgoi Pass:

The off-road track to Badgoi Pass was challenging and rough. After crossing the last human settlement of Utror village. It turned out wild with steep hill climbs and sharp curves but somehow I managed to reach the final ascent of Dasht-E-Laila after 2.5 hours of negotiation with the track. It was a lifetime experience!
